Video Analysis with Joe Trotta:

We’re thrilled to collaborate with professional Video Coach Joe Trotta, who brings over 30 years of experience, including a Stanley Cup with the Anaheim Ducks. Each week, players will receive a video lesson to enhance their Hockey IQ and demonstrate how the skills practiced on the ice translate into real game situations.

Goalies:

Goalies will have two on ice sessions and one off ice session per week. The first skate will be a dedicated goalie-only training session with our Storm Goaltending Staff- Mario Vrab, Brad Sholl, and Brittney Brooks. The second skate each week will integrate goalies into their assigned groups to compete in the Small Area Games. Goalies do not attend the first skate of the week for their assigned groups (players skill days). The off ice sessions will take place at LVIC gym or turf area depending on the needs for that session. Sessions will be tailored to goalie specific movements with a focus on proper hip mobility, flexibility, and hand eye coordination.

Special Note:

  • High School Goalies: Will have to leave goalie off ice sessions by 6:00 PM in order to get to Bishop Gorman’s ATC for workout at 6:30 PM.
