CLINIC PHILOSOPHY:

The TEAM BROOKS Hockey Clinic is designed to give participants the opportunity to develop their hockey skills. House League, Travel, and Elite players at all age levels will benefit from the clinic. Emphasis on the fundamentals (skating, passing, stick handling and shooting) of ice hockey will be stressed. However team and individual concepts (one on one’s, two on on’es, defensive zone principles, offensive zone principles, break-outs) are just some of the concepts that will be taught. This clinic is designed for the confident skater who would like to enhance their overall hockey ability. The game of hockey is a team sport where it is essential that every player is part of the team. The objective of the camp is to provide an enjoyable environment to enhance learning. Instructor to student ratio will be low. The clinic staff believes that hockey is a wonderful sport that can be enjoy for a lifetime.

House Youth Hockey Programs - Spring 2008

April 6th – June 13th

Age Groups: Cubs (6-under)
Mites & Squirts (7-10 year olds)
Peewee & Bantams (11-14)

Times: Cubs: Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm
Mites & Squirts Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm
Peewee/Bantam Wednesdays 6:45-7:45pm

Program: This Las Vegas Ice Center program will be a continuation of our
House program. Each hour session will be broken down into 25 min of instruction followed by 30min game. The program will still emphasize the skills of hockey but will also incorporate positional play and team concepts. Specific to the Peewee/Bantam division concepts on checking will also be taught.
