FALL 2017 HOUSE LEAGUE
What is it – First and foremost it’s hockey that’s played for fun. The House League at the Las Vegas Ice Center is recreational hockey that allows kids to practice, play, develop and learn the game without the costs or commitments of travel hockey.
Who can play – Youth of all age divisions that we offer may play in the House League. All participants should have basic skating skills and a simple understanding of hockey rules. Children who have not skated before or have very little experience must enroll in our Learn to Skate and/or “Hockey 123” programs prior to entering the house league. Customers who are new to the Las Vegas Ice Center (LVIC) and are unsure of where their child best fits can always speak to either the House League or Hockey Director. All participants are encouraged to attend Public Skate as well as Stick & Puck sessions to develop their skating and hockey skills.
When is it – The Fall 2017 House League season will open with evaluation practice sessions on Tuesday, September 5 and and Sunday, September 10 for participants in all divisions. League play will finish on Sunday, December 17. A season ending pizza/skate party will take place on Monday, December 18.
