The ""Learn To Skate"" Program is a structured All Year round program designed to increase interest and participation in ice skating. The program provides a nurturing environment where skills are broken down into progressive, achievable levels that encourage skater development.

*Each class includes 30 minutes of instruction and 30 minutes of practice skate.
In order to ensure the proper number of coaches are scheduled all classes are scheduled well in advance and the Las Vegas Ice Center cannot offer refunds for missed classes. Students are welcome to Make up classes during the "Learn to Skate" term for which they are currently enrolled. Please contact the Skating Director, Vassili Mourzine, to schedule make-up classes.
Drop - In class $17.50.
**5 free public skate passes do not include skate rentals.
5 FREE PUBLIC SKATE passes will only be issued to the customers with paid registration within first 2 weeks of the current semester

LVIC Skating Academy Figure Skating Specialty Classes
Skating Academy Classes are designed for skaters whom successfully graduated from our
“Learn To Skate” Program and would like to further advance their skating skills.
This program introduces skaters to different elements in skating and what is required if they choose to continue to skate recreationally or begin career as a competitive skater.

This class will focus on learning a variety of different footwork patterns, steps and turns. This class will help skaters gain better control over edges, body alignment and the ability to perform more difficult footwork during programs.

This class is designed to help skaters understand proper alignment and placement of their body;

This class will emphasize single and double jump techniques; power and height of the jumps and jump combinations.

Class will also focus on balance, body axis and techniques of different spins as well as creativity in spinning.

Freestyle sessions are available for the more advanced figure skaters or skaters taking private lessons. Sessions are $10.00 per one hour. LVIC offers following Freestyle sessions passes:
$100.00 - 11 Freestyle sessions
$45.00 - 5 Freestyle sessions
Private lessons are offered to those who are interested in one-on-one instruction. The Las Vegas Ice Center has many qualified, insured instructors that are available for private instruction.
