Private lessons are offered to those who are interested in One-on-One instruction. The Las Vegas Ice Center has many qualified, insured instructors that are available for private instruction from beginners to advanced competitive skaters.

Freestyle sessions are practice sessions reserved exclusively for figure skaters working on jumps, spins, and programs. Freestyle is provided for private lessons and individual practice time. As there will be skaters executing jumps and programs, all participants must be proficient skaters. LVIC offers several freestyle sessions daily and does not require advance reservations. Freestyle ice time fees are not included in the price of private lesson fee.
1 Hour Freestyle Session= $ 10.00
1 ½ Hour Freestyle Session= $ 15.00
Please note the LVIC will no longer be offering the $ 5.00 payment option for a ½ hour of Freestyle session time. The only time a ½ hour of Freestyle session time may be purchased is if it is the last ½ hour of a Freestyle BLOCK of ice time.
(I.E. skater will only skate 4:30-5:00pm) on the Freestyle session that ends at 5:00PM.
The option to purchase a ½ hour of Freestyle session time in the middle of a Freestyle BLOCK will no longer be available.

$100.00 - 11 Freestyle sessions
$45.00 - 5 Freestyle sessions
ALL SKATERS (INCLUDING SKATERS TAKING PRIVATE LESSONS) MUST CHECK-IN/PAY IN LVIC PRO-SHOP BEFORE THEY ENTER THE ICE SURFACE.
SKATERS MAY NOT ENTER THE ICE UNTIL THE ZAMBONI DOORS ARE CLOSED.
SKATERS MUST LEAVE THE ICE PROMPTLY AT THE END OF A SESSION BEFORE RESURFACING BEGINS.
NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES ALLOWED ON THE ICE OR BENCHES AT ANYTIME (WATER IS OK)
THE SKATER WHOSE PROGRAM IS BEING PLAYED HAS THE RIGHT-OF-WAY. THIS SKATER IS REQUIRED TO WEAR THE NEON BELT/VEST (PROVIDED) WHILE SKATING THEIR PROGRAM.
HEADSETS ARE NOT ALLOWED
ALL SKATERS ARE EXPECTED TO BEHAVE RESPONSIBLY AND TO BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHER SKATERS AT ALL TIMES.
NO SITTING ON THE BOARDS AT ANYTIME. NO DEMONSTRATIONS SUCH AS KICKING, BANGING OR SWEARING ON THE ICE WILL BE TOLERATED. BE AWARE OF COACHES AND SKATERS IN LESSONS AS THEY CANNOT ALWAYS BE AWARE OF EVERY SKATER WHILE IN A LESSON.
SKATERS MAY NOT STAY IN ONE PLACE ON THE ICE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME.THE HOCKEY CIRCLES MAY NOT BE USED FOR EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME.
MUSIC MAY BE PLAYED ONLY 2 TIMES (EACH PROGRAM) DURING A 1 HOUR SESSION UNLESS OTHERWISE APPROVED BY THE SKATING DIRECTOR IN FOLLOWING ORDER:

1 SKATER NOT IN A LESSON
COACHES ALWAYS HAVE PRIORITY IN PLAYING MUSIC FOR THEIR STUDENTS WHILE IN A LESSON.
COACHES CHOREOGRAPHING PROGRAMS MUST USE A PORTABLE MUSIC PLAYER TO PLAY MUSIC. MUSIC WILL NOT BE PLAYED CONTINUOUSLY OVER THE P.A. SYSTEM.
